This is not freedom of speech—it is shameful, disturbing, and absolutely unacceptable.

Thanks to the strength of social media, at least a few have highlighted the issue of perverted and objectionable content being posted freely on some platforms.

The recent outrage against #RanveerAllahbadia and #SamayRaina is just one example. There are several other accounts on YouTube, X, Instagram, etc., where the so-called “content” is filled with nudity and porn/semi-porn under the guise of entertainment.

As a parent, I am deeply concerned about the kind of content being normalized in the name of comedy or humor.
The values we pass on to our children shape the future of our society. If we allow such degrading humor to be accepted, what kind of mindset are we fostering in the next generation?

India’s Got Latent जैसे मंच पर कॉमेडी के नाम पर जो अभद्रता प्रस्तुत की जा रही है, वो हमारी संस्कृति और सामाजिक मूल्यों के विरुद्ध है। हमारी पीढ़ी कहाँ जा रही है? हम बच्चों का भविष्य क्या बना रहे हैं?

माँ-बाप या किसी भी व्यक्ति का अपमान न तो कॉमेडी है और न ही स्वीकार्य। यह सिर्फ मनोरंजन के नाम पर मानसिकता को प्रदूषित करने की एक साजिश है। अगर गंदी बातें बोलना, सुनना और उन पर हंसना आम हो गया है, तो हमें गंभीरता से सोचना चाहिए कि हम किस दिशा में जा रहे हैं!

As a society, we are equally responsible for the content we consume and promote. Laughing at such vile humor, staying silent, or clapping along makes us complicit.

Is our society truly making this kind of stuff the #NewNormal?
We must take a stand against such content before it becomes exactly that.
