A 262-km, 4-lane greenfield expressway being built at nearly ₹18,000 crore, connecting Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Designed for speeds up to 120 km/h, it is expected to cut the Bengaluru–Chennai journey from 5–6 hours to nearly 3 hours. ✨
Visakhapatnam has to be one of the most underrated cities in India ✨
India’s cities have so much untapped tourism potential. We often travel abroad looking for views like these, without realizing that places just as breathtaking exist right here in India.
The stunning Ambedkar Park, Lucknow ✨
Built at a reported cost of around ₹1,411 crore in 2014, equivalent to roughly ₹2,400 crore today.
A grand landmark spread across nearly 107 acres in the heart of Lucknow.
This Toto driver from Samastipur, Bihar, is winning hearts across the internet with his extraordinary kindness. ✨
He doesn’t charge students a single rupee. Instead, he gives them pens and chocolates, and sends them off with heartfelt wishes for a bright and successful future.
In a world where we often measure kindness in money, this man reminds us that sometimes, the smallest gestures can leave the biggest impact, truly, a gem of a person. ❤️🙏
Remember when these regions were "too remote" for development?
Now they have smooth, newly built highways. 🛣️
Better roads → better access → better jobs. That's how a region changes. 🇮🇳
The Dwarka Expressway "India’s Engineering Marvel" ✨
It is a 29.6 km, 8-lane, access-controlled expressway connecting Shiv Murti near IGI Airport to Kherki Daula in Gurugram.
What makes it special?
• India’s first 8-lane elevated expressway built on a single pier
• 18.9 km in Haryana and 10.1 km in Delhi
• Nearly 9 km of elevated sections
• Includes tunnels, underpasses, flyovers and multi-level interchanges
• Features a 3.6 km, 8-lane shallow tunnel in Delhi
• Includes a 16-lane railway overbridge
• Provides an alternative high-capacity corridor to the congested Delhi–Gurugram route
Built to decongest the Delhi–Gurugram corridor and provide a faster alternative to NH-48, the Dwarka Expressway is a glimpse of how India is building infrastructure for the future.
India’s Mobile Manufacturing Revolution ✨
From producing mobile phones worth just ₹18,900 crore in 2014-15 to ₹6.27 lakh crore in 2025-26, India’s mobile manufacturing has grown 33× in just over a decade.
• 2nd largest mobile phone manufacturer globally
• 99.2% of mobile phones used in India are now made domestically
• ₹2.60 lakh crore worth of mobile phones exported in FY 2025-26
• ₹96,000+ crore investment catalysed through the PLI ecosystem
• 300+ mobile phone & component manufacturing units across India
• 325–330 million+ phones manufactured annually
• Around 12 lakh direct & indirect jobs supported by the sector
India has gone from being a net importer to a major global mobile manufacturing and export hub 🇮🇳
My first reaction on seeing this was: AI.
My second reaction, after checking: Good grief. It’s real.
This is the Chambal Riverfront in Kota.
For most of us, the name Kota probably brings to mind its huge coaching industry. And, sadly, the controversies around the intense pressure on students there.
But this is a side of Kota I had absolutely no idea existed.
2.75 km along both banks of the Chambal. Ghats, promenades, fountains and some fairly spectacular public spaces.
And apparently I’m not the only one who hasn’t discovered it. The riverfront is reportedly attracting only around 1,000 visitors a day.
Why haven’t we heard more about it?
Credit to Shanti Dhariwal, then Rajasthan’s Urban Development Minister, who drove the project, the Kota Urban Improvement Trust and architect Anoop Bartaria.
Judging from these images, it certainly deserves to be better known.
Kota just went on my Wanderer list.
Anyone been there? Does the reality live up to the pictures?

And this is only the beginning. 🚀
A 10/10 View from Kangra City, Himachal Pradesh ✨
The newly built Kangra Bypass, part of the NH-503 addition, where the highway is being upgraded from 2 lanes to 4 lanes with the majestic Dhauladhar Ranges in the backdrop adds to the beauty!
