BTS Jin appears carrying the Olympic torch, drawing thunderous cheers from fans.
He waves and greets the crowds lining the streets before receiving the flame from the previous torchbearer and beginning his relay segment near the Louvre Museum.
He carries the torch for approximately 200m toward the Louvre's iconic glass pyramid.
Throughout the relay, the cheers from fans never stop.
Thousands of BTS fans, known as ARMY, traveled not only from France but from across Europe to witness Jin's torch relay in person.
As massive crowds gathered, hundreds of police officers were deployed, and Jin's relay route was reportedly adjusted several times up until shortly before the event for safety reasons.
🐹"I feel incredibly honored," Jin said. "I also want to sincerely thank ARMY and all of my fans who made it possible for me to participate in the torch relay."
After arriving in mainland France in May, the Olympic flame traveled through regional cities and overseas territories before reaching Paris on Bastille Day.
Following two days of relays across Paris, the torch continued its journey through other regions before returning to Paris for the opening ceremony on July 26.
The identity of the final torchbearer at the opening ceremony remained undisclosed, though legendary French footballer Zinedine Zidane was among the names widely speculated at the time.
