The week before Xmas I successfully caught my first #swarm! They're settling into their new home in a friend's @flowhive#bees#beekeeper https://t.co/QG2vEGBGa8
Just finished this heartwarming and heartbreaking novel from @rainbowrowell. Carefully crafted characters crackle with complexity from the first page to the last.
YA fans, what are you reading now?
'You know you've made it when your book gets turned into a biscuit.' @Irma_Gold quizzes Craig Silvey on his new book, Runt, his past life as a ukulele star and the time he was nominated for Cleo Bachelor of the Year. #litnightout#MeetTheAuthor#ANU
'Ask good questions in a sensible order.' Thank you @angsavage for your expert insights on chairing panels at last night's Inside the Industry class @RMIT_PWE. Fellow students, what was a takeaway for you?
'I am very economical and I like to be concise. I don’t like to ramble. I will never write a novel as there are far too many words.' @thuy_on tells our @RMIT_PWE class why poetry is her chosen form. Can't wait to get a copy of Decadence. 😍
Just finished #HeartbreakHigh on @netflix. Final episode was basically a thriller, and resolved the mystery woven through the whole season. Acting and costume department were 💯👌 and the writing was decent too.
Leaping from (or into?) the precipice with @KathrynHeyman, Diana Reid and @hammerNow. @NicoleAbadee expertly navigated this panel through an interesting discussion of characters on the brink, class and shame -- common themes across their three books. @cbrwritersfest
Two thumbs up for @V8Sheppard's new book, The Brink👍👍 A gritty mystery exploring sexuality and masculinity, set against the backdrop of schoolies ... can't wait to read this! #litnightout with @camainwrites @CanberraMuse
First and foremost @AnnaSnoekstra's 'Out of Breath' is an absorbing and entertaining read. There’s a sinister edge to almost every scene, and the feeling of a constantly simmering mystery makes it a difficult book to put down. | @ElizabethFlux. https://t.co/P6UwbqnvDD
