गुजरात के मोरबी में अडानी की पावर ट्रांसमिशन लाइन परियोजना के खिलाफ किसान आज 21 दिनों से अनिश्चितकालीन अनशन पर बैठे हैं।

किसानों की मांग स्पष्ट है... उनकी उपजाऊ ज़मीन के बदले बाज़ार दर का 4 गुना मुआवज़ा और भविष्य की सुरक्षा के लिए ठोस लिखित आश्वासन। लेकिन सत्ता के गलियारों में सन्नाटा है।

किसानों का संकल्प अटूट है, वे कह रहे हैं कि यह अनशन तब तक चलेगा जब तक या तो उनकी मांगें पूरी नहीं होतीं या फिर वे दम नहीं तोड़ देते।

क्या सत्ता और कॉर्पोरेट के इस गठजोड़ के सामने देश के किसानों की आवाज़ हमेशा दबा दी जाएगी?

बड़ी बात ये कि लोकतंत्र का चौथा स्तंभ यानी मुख्यधारा का मीडिया इस ज़मीनी हक़ीक़त से पूरी तरह किनारा किए हुए है। जब ख़बर ही नहीं दिखाई जाएगी, तो समाधान कैसे निकलेगा?
