Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has put off commenting on their post on their publication of cow urine research. Why? How can a central institute that is run on public funds stop public from commenting on their post?
If anyone has the full paper https://t.co/dFJ6x2fggo please send me for a through post publication peer review to abbyphilips(at)theliverinst(dot)in
Thanks in advance!
Public service announcement:
Now that "modern" cough syrups are available only via prescriptions and not over-the-counter (OTC), as rightly pointed out, the other OTC option becomes alternative medicine.
Of these, Ayurveda and Homeopathy cough syrups are most likely to be in demand.
But buyer beware (this will be mostly the rural populace that will be affected).
Most Ayurveda cough syrups contain - Giloy (or Tinospora species) - the most common cause for herbal liver injury in India (>300 cases already reported in published literature including our multicenter series). Giloy plant consumption can make the adaptive immune system go into overdrive (due to presence of plant furano-diterpinoids) and autoimmune damage to the liver has been frequently recorded/ reported.

Most Homeopathic cough syrup formulations contain alcohol along with....cockroach (Blatta orientalis). Yes, this is true. Homeopaths believe that using crushed and macerated cockroach parts diluted with alcohol can reduce cough - because cockroach parts are responsible for cough/asthma at homes - so "like cures like" and they give you diluted roach-cocktails.
Dont believe me? Please see here: https://t.co/SZLusQYFzh
>Children dying from tainted cough syrups
- block over the counter sales
>National medical and engineering entrance test exam papers leaked
- block the messaging apps
>Calling out pseudoscientific, quackery and fraud practices - block the medical science accounts
Do we really have a working Government or are we inside a Block Panchayat?
@KartiPC@NTA_Exams You should also shut down all the shopping malls since there might be a theft in one of them. And close the roads because I heard someone was speeding.
Hello! Please read this report where I simplify a recent breakthrough trial that found a new drug for hepatitis B virus infection. Great questions, simplified answers.

> be Ferrari
> spend 8 decades selling cars based on the sound they make
> hire Jony Ive - the guy who killed the headphone jack and shipped the butterfly keyboard - to design your first EV
> wait 4 years. unveil the "Luce" in Rome
> charge $640,000 for 280 miles of range. a $50K Mustang Mach-E does 300
> 0-60 in 2.4 seconds. so does a used Tesla Plaid for a tenth of the price
> weigh 4,982 lbs - basically a Ford F-150
> 4 doors, 4 seats, a hatchback trunk Ferrari proudly calls "the largest luggage capacity we've ever offered"
> Ive at the launch: "it's not styled"
> actual designers call it "soulless," compare it to a Honda, a kit-car, and "a Lotus Elise for the EV era"
> because EVs are silent, you bolt an accelerometer to the motors and run an algorithm that filters "unpleasant frequencies" and amplifies "musical" ones

$640,000. for a 5,000-pound sedan with a synthesized soul. designed by the man who killed the headphone jack.
