Heartbroken & disturbed by the tragic blast in Delhi yesterday that has taken precious innocent lives and left many injured. This is not just an attack on a city it is an attack on the very soul of India.

As Kashmiris, we have always stood firmly against all forms of violence. Our faith teaches us compassion, not cruelty, peace, not bloodshed. No one can claim to represent religion while taking innocent lives. Islam, in its true essence, stands for mercy, justice, and humanity.

The Holy Qur’an clearly reminds us:

“Whoever kills an innocent person, it is as if he has killed all of humanity; and whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of humanity.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah, 5:32)

Those who commit such heinous crimes & those who protect or support them in any form must face the strictest punishment. Justice must be swift and uncompromising.

At the same time, I sincerely hope that our Kashmiri students and citizens across India remain safe and protected. The sins of a few misguided individuals should never become the burden of an entire community. Every Kashmiri, every Indian who believes in peace, stands united in condemning this cowardly act of terror.

May Almighty Allah (SWT) grant patience to the families who lost their loved ones, heal the injured, and guide us all towards peace and righteousness. Violence can never represent faith, love and humanity always will. 🇮🇳
