But in the current young generation this is increasing in the past 4-5 years, in the conflict between society and personal choice and perhaps also due to hidden criminal tendencies. To put a stop to this, I think a really comprehensive program will be needed, not just Policing but education. The basic respect of somebody's life is not happening. The pressure of romantic relationships impacts human logic a little. That is where, we need more of awarenss and help in time..."

On Gurugram man allegedly burning his lover to death following a dispute between the two after she found out that he was married, he says, "Nature of crime is grotesque and such incidents are on a rise. I think media and social media play a role here...Violent content on TV, social media, reels does have unconscious effect...But we need to respect each other and fear the law."

@AmbikaPanditTOI Very valid points raised there.....the long stay patients( LSP) in mental health institutions( MHIs), was a huge problem which has been & is being addressed with efforts of the Apex Court & NHRC in last few decades...but to make social reality inclusive for PMIs.....
