A shocking incident happened in my building today.

A woman allegedly got into an argument with her mother-in-law after being asked to help with household work. The argument escalated and she reportedly slapped her mother-in-law.

When her husband stepped in to stop the fight, instead of calming down, she allegedly slapped his mother again right in front of him. At that point, he lost control and slapped his wife.

The woman then called the police, leading to a huge scene in the building. Her husband's brothers arrived and tried to resolve the matter peacefully, but she refused to settle it and the police eventually took her husband to the station.

Honestly, I do not understand where people with this mindset come from.

If the facts are true, what kind of person slaps an elderly mother-in-law, then does it again in front of her own husband, and later turns the entire family dispute into a police matter?

Cooking food and helping with household responsibilities are not cheap or degrading tasks. Millions of people do them every day with dignity and respect.

A woman who can assault her mother-in-law and create chaos in her own family over a simple disagreement deserves criticism for her actions.

It’s not about whataboutery. It’s about the thin line between right and wrong, and whether justice is applied equally to everyone.

If you’re a feminist and you have a brother, son, husband, or father, this should concern you too.

The question isn’t whether women deserve justice… they absolutely do.

The question is whether men deserve the same presumption of innocence, due process, and institutional fairness.

A society that demands equality cannot remain silent when similar cases receive vastly different responses based on gender, status, or influence.

Justice loses its meaning the moment it stops being blind.
