Has anyone sought legal advice yet over the new Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (c. 13) regarding subscription traps operated by companies like @skillshare who are not offering cooling off periods on their recurring subscriptions?

@pactcoffee your website says free v60 with first order via signing up to marketing. I’ve done that but it won’t allow me to add to my first order (an aeropress kit) - if I follow the sms link it takes me to subscriptions which isn’t clear or mentioned anywhere in the marketing?

@RobMitch92 I’m asking as I’m a SW in a ‘generic practitioner’ role (quote marks as this was said scathingly to me by a PSW) - but I feel that my role is _pure_ SW! (Admittedly in a niche team) I often try to educate SWers that our qual opens up lots of interesting roles in MH (my passion!)
