Comics pay notoriously low, we know this, but we should be able to be more blunt for many reasons. Students who are paying nearly 6 figures for college to learn comics should reconsider college entirely if they truly want this career because this career won’t pay those loans.

This poll’s results can be pretty demoralizing, but I’m glad people are being transparent in the replies. We really need to talk about money more so we can get a better idea of where we should be and how far behind we are and which industries pay better than others.
