Peirce may be the greatest interviewer of alive, stay with me.
He consistently brings on incredibly smart, challenging guests and presents the common counters to their positions which allows them to shine on their points. It kind of looks like he gets dunked on in short clips and... he keeps on doing it undeterred. Like a heel in wrestling.
Either he's doing it purposefully out of public service or his producers have something on him and hate him.
GOAT interviewer eitherway.
@FREEMANREALMD@AlreadyAUser@SydFizzard 100 km/h winds. Cold temp, high humidity and dew point. Major adjacent water feature and municipal fire fighting response. I don't have a clue what you're hoping to believe?
@RY0N1X@lookner Personal accounts of 80ish man unit down in bowl getting burn over by the wind driven fire. Other accounts of fire reaching ammo or fuel depots near indoor training faculties. Wait and see.
@rebekah930@lookner There may have been secondary explosions but they have ruled out an oil and gas. Public data agrees there are none in the burn zone.

A map of the active natural gas wells (Aug-Oct production), with the NASA heat maps superimposed.
The fire at CFB Wainwright was NOWHERE NEAR an active gas wells or pipelines. The wind direction suggests the fire started on range around the dry pond labeled "6602" and raged to the NEE towards infrastructure.
The largest producer was at 50 mcf/d .... very low rate. And its operator (Sumerian Oil & Gas) was ordered by the AER to suspend operation on October 5th, but was planning on appealing the decision the day of the incident.
This story will be told in inquiry by the RSO responsible for this operation, as the winds howled to >100 km/h ....

@MilitarySummary Conflicting reports on the gas well. Some who were supposedly there saying it was just only sparked by munition explosion that was whipped up by the wind.
@TodaysHistory13@_dyedinthewool@albertaradios There may be more than one incident with a fire moving that fast covering a lot of ground. There were reports of secondary explosions. Will have to wait and see.
