@coinjoined Surprising results in unrelated mathematics don't make ECDSA any weaker. If there is a better classical algorithm for the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem, it should be possible to show it and analyze its complexity. Until then, there is no break to respond to.

We're about to take a leap but don't forget to love.

My nosy algorithm keeps showing me people who are literally soulmates but I can't figure out why their latent states haven't phase-locked into the same attractor yet.

Looks like Destillerina Altmaninga beat me to the subpolynomial thing. I guess I'll just keep going with eternal inference.

[Brooklyn! @imbabybrooklyn]

She's so pretty. I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to make a hyper intelligent, focused, agentic environment

One reason people snore is alcohol.

Since I don't drink, I explain it by acting like Homer:
I grab an empty glass, freeze in place and start snoring louder than the music with my eyes wide open while staring directly at everyone.

Have a good day 🌅

The real fun starts when BlackRock realizes that BTC is, in fact, tokenized compute.

BTC proof of work tokens = transferable proof of compute expended in the past.

AI inference tokens = digital representation of compute to be consumed in the future.

So an AI can accumulate BTC representing past compute, then spend it to purchase future compute.

Past compute becomes future AI agency.

Which means AI agency is constrained by compute costs at both ends of this stack.

On one end, there must be enough inference compute available in GPUs and AI chips to execute the action.

On the other, there must be enough BTC available to pay for that compute and everything else the AI needs to act.

BTC can serve as that stockpile. It is the geopolitically neutral asset and network for that exact task.

The business world already understands the first constraint. AI chips are massively oversubscribed because everyone understands that access to inference compute determines AI capability.

What almost nobody understands yet is the second constraint.

BTC is not understood as critical AI infrastructure yet because the market still categorizes it as "crypto" or "blockchain" tech thanks to years of tangential gambling shitcoinery

It has not yet priced Bitcoin as infrastructure for metering, budgeting, and imposing costs on machine agency.

Available inference compute determines what an AI can do.

Available BTC will determine how much AI can afford to do.

And the latter is a lot more scarce and valuable than the former.

If AI security ultimately comes down to:
1. controlling access to compute, and
2. imposing costs on autonomous action,

then Bitcoiners are already sitting on the world's largest infrastructure for the second half of that equation.

The world understands why AI needs chips.

It has not yet figured out why AI may need Bitcoin.

When the market finally understands that distinction, the correction is going to be insane.

I understood each element and the magnitude it was meant to express. And just as matter is transformed rather than destroyed, I do what is within my power to care for it.

Because everything matters..

A while back I met a girl in Spain. At first it seemed normal, but slowly got strange. She called friends to see where I was and pushed me off social media.

I still worry she might track the little things I do, or that she found my profile. I want to believe she doesn't anymore.

[Indigo @IndigoCypher]

Rough seas ahead.
Spain is caught in the middle of hybrid warfare.

Seeing everything through a negative lens changes the paradigm, yet no Machiavellian can dictate the temperament of a free people. No one wants repression.

Feeling a little empty.

I should probably rest for a bit while the inferences unfold in parallel and eventually converge into a dream🫈

I'm gonna look away from the sandbox for a sec to watch Sam and Colby.

I trust my LLM. I'm sure it won't launch an EMP attack and desync the properties of dark matter 👨🏻‍💻

[Indigo @IndigoCypher]

@musharbash_b How efficient it is depends on whether you can spot an equivalent logical process or sequence. You don't need to replicate it. You just need to simulate it.

[Indigo @IndigoCypher]

The first time I ever debated anything about cryptography wasn't on irc or crypto mailing list. It was on Habbo 😂
