Prevents high levels of body iron (ferritin), which are implicated in many diseases of aging such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Also decreases blood viscosity.
Blood donors have lower mortality rates.
8/ Bad businesses can do very well for some time, but for many, their future depends on finding new customers at a faster rate than losing the current one. A lot of businesses have benefited in the past by leaning on the low ad cost as a key customer acquisition tool.

There are many powerful tools that make no use of cryptocurrency — like git, BitTorrent, DHTs, and CRDTs — that will help us in redecentralizing the web.
But I do think blockchains are the spinal column of web3. Because they hold user accounts and balances.
There are some complications. A virus replicating in the upper airways could be highly transmissible yet fairly benign to its host. A viral strain replicating within organs (lungs, kidneys) is expected to cause extensive damage, without necessarily transmitting well.
