SESBANIA GRANDIFLORA 👇
1/3 We’re excited to introduce cattle farmer, Ibu Pasnep, an active member of the Ngiring Datu Cattle Farmers Association in North Lombok.
Ibu Pasnep is a widow and she relies on the income from her two cattle to support her three children.

2/3 In the morning, Ibu Pasnep collects and feeds fodder to her cattle. And like most farmers in the group, she feeds her cattle Sesbania grandiflora, a tree legume which is rich in protein—excellent for cattle fattening and for lactating cows.
As 2020 gets underway, we look forward to everyone across the IndoBeef program working together to build relationships with farmer groups and smallholder farmers, to improve beef production and livelihoods across five provinces in #Indonesia.
We couldn't agree more. The #IndoBeef gender research team held the first gender focus group discussions this year with women farmers involved in raising cattle.
