The latest Update for the https://t.co/xt9fWj3ygr App adds support to record CO2-data in public transport (Trams, Busses and Subways so far, Trains will follow soon, Aeroplanes and other somewhen in the future). Download-Links for the app stores are here: https://t.co/mvgPgLco5V
When hovering over an entry in the legend it now shows the additional info which was entered during recording. (For Windows and Venilation System, the client will be updated to not have "False" as default but "No Data", to distinguish better.
Some small improvements to the Website: 1) Detailed view of Location now has max 5 entries per page and is sorted by date rather than random. 2) there is a Button in the top to zoom out to whole World 3) Activity Map (via Menu) also has a World map showing measurements by country
not finished yet but functional: overwiew of amount of measurements by NUTS3 Region. (not linked to from main page yet, will be added once layout is finished / legend added etc.) https://t.co/znwkK8CNWO
The Data Download at https://t.co/34aufi52JS is now properly formatted JSON. It also includes the OSM key and tag (*what type of location it is*) now, as well as the country and for european countries also the NUTS3 Region (Landkreis in Germany).
The plan is to keep the old Java App around as alternative for those who prefer that one and keep it in a working state as long as there are users left, but it won't get all quality of life features and only minimal effort into layout etc. 3/3
Just a short Update: there is a new iPhone App Beta Version available which adds an option to delete the last measurement, useful if you accidently selected the wrong location for example. There is also a large overhaul of the android App currently in closed testing which 1/3
is based on the same code base as the iPhone Version (C# MAUI instead of Java), which will hopefully result in the longer run in an Android App which has less users with issues and faster development time, but at first it might create new issues for some user 2/3
The Website has been updated with a few new features. You can filter results by Name (not case sensitive, returns result if location contains the search string) and by Date. a Menu Bar in was added - data download can be found there now 1/2
There is also a Map Mode showing every supermarket (green = already measured, blue = not measured yet) in Germany available via the Menu, primarily for the power users who want to increase coverage in a systematic manner - It can be a bit laggy but it does the job for now. 2/2
