@SayaniBh I'd recommend going to a store that specialises in camping gear and trying out multtiple backpacks, adjusting for fit.

For long walking hours - eventually any backpack will tire you out if its heavy enough. But support straps reduce that factor by an order of magnitude.

@SayaniBh It comes with a sternum and a waist strap - which is what you need to take the load away from your shoulders and towards your hip.

It's a good day pack. It didn't come with its own rain cover but my previous backpack (Decathlon) had one so I just use that instead.

So we don’t have any way of identifying the user who was facing the problem. And can’t investigate for the root cause retroactively that easily now.

As the saying goes: Any product you build will blow up in your face when exposed to your users.

This is exactly what happened. Hahaha!

At $DAYJOB, sometimes users post on Reddit when they face issues. I wanted us to be able to respond quickly and a wrote a bot to push new posts to Slack.

First post after I deployed it was deleted by the user (their issue got resolved before we could look). And I wasn’t logging the username yet.

I used to own <my-first-name>.org for a few years an eternity ago but somehow never felt the urge to use it for my blog. Then I let it expire.

Signed up on Bsky a couple of days ago paired with the https://t.co/T4jjLz2ZVM nonsense, something tickled inside me to get my own domain but shorter this time.

I thought "multi line input box" is some JIRA concept that needs an add on to be enabled. 😂

I tested again. New issue. Empty description box. Paste does not work. 🤦‍♂️

Funnily, if I type "/" to invoke the command menu in the box, I am able to paste the image but not get rid of the "/". 😂

@arpit_bhayani Love Excalidraw! It’s my default drawing tool for all things. Your illustrations look great. Maybe cross check with light mode for better contrast.

Honestly that’s the reason I avoided signing up on bsky so far. But my own usage of Twitter has gone down quite a bit (thanks to onesec app) and my feed is lacking in quality that I often catch myself skipping posts completely.

I miss the quality interaction from years ago and would consolidate wherever that’s best (even if that’s a private discord like place).

It also feel partly pointless to ask who’s on bsky because:

1. Folks active there most likely aren’t active here anymore

2. This tweet will probably not get discovered by most folks in my network

I just signed up myself but haven’t started posting yet.
