Was going through this morning yesterday's political happenings in Tamil Nadu.
Chief Minister Vijay is mocked because he did not answer certain accusations immediately in assembly but instead chose to give a long response through a post in Twitter.
Unlike other leaders before, Vijay do not have any long experience in assembly or parliament. He has immediately become Chief Minister after forming the party. It would definitely take some time for him to get hands on in administrative and political functioning.
The fact is Tamil Nadu people has wanted him to be the Chief Minister. It is rare to earn that kind of trust. It is relatively easier to pick political and administrative experience over a period of time.
Also some handles have accused Vijay of acknowledging what Udayanidhi said on Sanathana. I saw the video this morning. After every party representative's speech in assembly, Vijay acknowledged them with folded hands. He did the same for Udayanidhi too.
Be it opposition parties or those who don't like Vijay, it is unfair to be critical of him from day one like this. He needs to be given 6 months to 1 year to get a grip on lot of things.
Chief Minister Vijay is having strong people's mandate. So it is fair we give him some time.

It’s also our first Opus-class model with 1M token context in beta.

Something about this crash doesn’t sit right
A Boeing 787 is one of the most advanced passenger aircraft in the world. It’s built to handle engine failures, weather, and even major system issues. Yet today, one crashed right after takeoff from Ahmedabad
What’s deeply unusual:
◾️The plane was in the air for less than a minute
◾️It reportedly didn’t climb beyond 600 feet
◾️The landing gear may not have retracted
◾️No clear distress call was received
◾️The aircraft was fully fuelled for a long-haul flight
◾️This is the first fatal crash of a 787 in commercial service
This isn’t how a modern plane is supposed to behave. Not a 787. Not under normal conditions
Something serious went wrong either with the aircraft itself, or with the checks before takeoff.
People lost their lives today. Families are waiting for answers. And the aviation system must respond with honesty, urgency, and care.

the optimal startup team in 2025 is 5 people.
1 engineer. 1 designer. 1 product lead. 1 growth lead. 1 ops person
that's it.
the engineer starts the day in Cursor. they paste in a product idea, and Cursor instantly generates the scaffolding. they edit inline with AI, refactor entire files with a single prompt, and navigate the repo by chatting with it. debugging feels like pair programming. documentation is auto-generated. by EOD, the idea is live. no waiting, team is stoked.
the designer doesn’t stop at Figma. they write the copy, shape the brand, talk to users, and launch prototypes in V0/Replit. sometimes they skip the handoff entirely. vibe coding is real, and it’s fast.
the product lead jumps between defining success metrics, community building, replying to support tickets, and building the strategy/tactics to build a big company. they are the glue.
growth lead is a mix of creative and technical. they are vibe marketing by hiring agents, setting up analytics, rewriting landing pages, testing distribution ideas, finding creators to work with and coming up with outlandish ideas to get people on social to stop scrolling on social and "look at me".
ops runs the quiet layer under everything. contracts, support, tools, hiring, money. no chaos. just speed.
you don’t feel the size of the team. you feel the surface area.
ai is everywhere, it's the co-founder to everyone on the team but in the background. it writes, supports, designs, scouts, and summarizes. no meetings about what to do. just people doing it.
instagram sold for $1B with 13 people.
the next $1B company will get there with 5.
this is how it plays out now.
not theoretical. not future.
already happening.
Coding is over. Now what?
I've been wrong for a long time. I wrote about my feelings on AI, coding, and the future of software development in my blog. Link below.

I think China's second DeepSeek moment is here.
This AI agent called 'Manus' is going crazy viral in China right now.
Probably only a matter of time until it hits the US.
It's like Deep Research + Operator + Claude Computer combined, and it's REALLY good.
New incredible AI image generator is here
NEX AI just dropped Ikon 2 , a new foundation model that beat Deepseek in accuracy with way fewer GPU hours.
Ikon's image generator bring realism to next level

3 days using my Framework laptop running Ubuntu.
Main takeaway:
The Macbook Pro is the best laptop that has been created and nothing else is remotely close to it.
