The “Cells at Work” mangaka produced 6 volumes in 6 years, most other Shonen mangaka produce that in a year & half to 2 years. Most mangaka get peanuts for their first manga, as there’s an endless amount of manga being produced each year.

If a mangaka creates a good manga then they’ll get better pay for their next work.

Manga and anime is already dirt cheap, you can get a subscription to jump for €3,99 per month. You can get an entire year of Crunchyroll for €80, I don’t know how you expect to get it any cheaper than that.
