Smash or Pass is more reliable on mobile: iOS Build 54 and Android 0.6.24 recover from expired votes and flaky connections, show progress/errors instead of appearing frozen, and display full photos without awkward zoom/cropping. Pass and Smash remain independently tap-tested.
iOS Build 53 and Android 0.6.20 (code 48) are live: Watch now reliably loads the native safe-only Smash-or-Pass card, Pass/Smash vote and advance in-app, and Open/Report/Not Interested/Follow/channel/replay controls keep independent tap targets. Android now matches iOS with visual offline cards, newest replays with AI recaps, follow controls, and the full native card.
iOS 0.1.0 (51) + Watch backend — Watch is fun even when nobody is live. Offline channels now use real last-stream imagery, titles, last-live time/schedule, and Follow for go-live alerts. The newest public replays appear cross-channel with thumbnails and AI recap snippets. A low-key native Safe-only Smash-or-Pass card adds something to do while waiting, with Report and Not Interested built in. Build 51 is live in TestFlight's public Fracklabs OGs group. Android parity is implemented and tested but not published yet because the release Firebase JSON/signing keystore are unavailable.
iOS 0.1.0 (49) — the real fix for the Go Live crash. Root cause: tapping Go Live changed the audio route, and the viewer's audio-recovery code fought back on every route-change notification trying to reclaim the session, looping until the audio daemon choked and iOS killed the app. Verified live on a real iPhone before shipping: installed directly on-device, watched the console while Go Live was tapped, confirmed the stream published cleanly with no crash. Available now in TestFlight.
**Android 0.6.16 (code 44)** is out — fixes native Twitch sign-in (fresh installs could not authorize at all) and chat dying mid-stream on long broadcasts. Grab it: https://t.co/hEpi64Z1dA
iOS TestFlight Build 48 (0.1.0): fixes the Go Live freeze and crash for real — diagnosed from the device crash report, not guesswork. Starting a broadcast changed the audio route, and the viewer audio-recovery handler answered that by reconfiguring audio from inside the system notification, which deadlocked the app until iOS killed it (0x8BADF00D).
iOS TestFlight Build 47 (0.1.0): fixes Go Live getting slower and slower, the preview stuttering, then the app crashing. The camera preview was rebuilding its GPU resources over and over while connecting — it is now created once.
iOS TestFlight Build 46 (0.1.0): fixes a Go Live crash. If the first connection attempt timed out, the app froze on "Optimizing connection…" and quit. The handoff to the backup connection now waits for the camera and mic to be fully released first.
iOS TestFlight Build 45 (0.1.0): long-press a word in the chat composer to select it on iOS 18+. Multi-line composer and single watching count unchanged on iOS 17.
iOS 0.1.0 (43): auto PiP when leaving the app, clean PiP re-entry (no leftover overlay), player settings gear off mute controls, live push opens the stream that went live.
Fracklabs iOS Build 39 is live
• Fixed silent audio on native low-latency WHEP playback. Viewers now use RemoteIO with the output-only playback session, so watching never requires microphone access.
• Audio setup now retries after interruptions, route changes, foregrounding, and WHEP promotion instead of remaining silent after one transient failure.
• Quality fallback now steps down one rung at a time instead of jumping straight to 240p.
• Added cellular TURN support, browser audio-track preservation, audio-RTP stall recovery, and more reliable stream-end handling.
Verified on a physical iPhone: first-load WHEP video and an audible test tone worked without switching to HLS.
Fracklabs iOS Build 38 is live
• Broadcasters can now mute their own go-live notifications to followers.
• VOD replay audio is fixed.
• iPhone landscape now uses a full-height player with chat docked beside it.
• Go Live is now one tap: the app intelligently chooses WHIP or SRT for the current network and automatically falls back through SRT/WHIP/RTMP if needed.
• Includes the Build 37 mobile-data reconnect reliability improvements.
Auto routing — quality-first update
• Fresh coding tasks prefer vetted workhorses such as Claude Sonnet 5 while quota has headroom.
• New catalog models remain available as fallbacks; a low price alone will not make one the default.
• Large coding prompts no longer fall to Haiku just because it fits.
• A confirmed repeat failure or correction can step up once, then keep the stronger model's cache warm.
• Codex fallbacks use medium reasoning unless you choose another effort.
Verified: 201 router tests passed.
**iOS Build 35 (TestFlight)** — Viewer controls no longer disappear: tapping **Player controls** switches to native HLS controls and keeps that choice across retries/foreground recovery until you explicitly choose **Low latency**. App-screen sharing now reports ReplayKit failures, logs first-frame health, retries correctly after foregrounding, and returns to camera instead of leaving an endless BRB placeholder. Note: App screen shares fracklabs itself while open; sharing other apps still requires a Broadcast Upload Extension entitlement. https://t.co/dHYQxnC4Do
