We have very good news. Last week we sent 5 day 5 blasts for PGT-A and much to everyone's surprise, THREE have come back normal.😭🎉

It's taken 5 rounds of #IVF to get to a normal embryo. Never in a million years did I think we would end up with 3. A huge step forward. 🥺🙏🏼

@makingbabyj I’ve had a D&C with just local anesthetic. (Not exactly the same, but similar.) It’s fairly common in Canada if you need it done quickly. It was very traumatic; I wouldn’t do it again. My 2nd D&C was under general anesthesia.

Odds of "miracle" pregnancy @ 48 are effectively zero. IVF success even at 44-45 yo is low single digits.

This is from donor egg or long frozen eggs/embryos.

I'm thrilled for them! And no one needs share their medical history.

But public knowledge re: fertility & age is VITAL.

We’ve done everything possible to avoid Covid throughout IVF. We don’t socialize in groups, see friends indoors, go to restaurants, or travel. We wear N95’s everywhere we go — yet it still got us. 🥺

Battling Covid while pregnant with 24/7 morning sickness is awful.

I am fully vaxxed and boosted, yet my body is still struggling. If I wasn’t vaxxed, I know it would be much worse.

The hospital has me under watch for dehydration and a persistent fever. If they get worse, I’ll be admitted.
