The odyssey was a great experience. I really liked Nolan’s take on the gods even if it’s “too realistic”. The sound design and score are great and if my theater had comfortable chairs I wouldn’t have felt the runtime at all. Damon’s final monologue almost brought me to tears :,)

The healing hippo of hinode park was a great read. 5-short stories of different people all wanting to visit this hippo so it can heal whatever is hurting or acting wrong. I loved this slice of life read and I almost cried by the end of it. The stay at home mom story hit the most

Watched Troy for the 1st time to prep for the odyssey and it was pretty good! Everyone was so hot it was borderline distracting💀 the sets and costumes look great. I’m not sure why people have started to hate it recently besides the obvious Brad Pitt stuff. A timeless tale!

I don’t have strong feelings about ready or not 2. I feel like the tone and dialogue were a bit rough but the plot and characters were okay. I like how the cast says they had a great time filming it but it was an unnecessary sequel to a really good movie

Return to silent hill has to be the worst movie I’ve seen in a while. Why does Maria look like that? Weird changes to the plot and the acting is eh. I just want a decent adaptation to silent hill is that too hard😭 the OG movies have their charms at least but this one is rough

Finally finished my rewatch of Ahs murder house. I had a lot of fun with it! It hasn’t aged the best but I think it’s a great set up for what ahs becomes. Onto asylum now! I’m not sure I’ve ever watched this season so idk what to expect!
