My take on western comics vs manga is quite simple

While they absolutely have distinctions from each other, I think if you truly love comics/sequential art you wouldn’t be picking one or the other – and in your mind this isn’t even a worthwhile debate

eujett but it's just eugene and we kill jett

comics are very hard to get into. way too small to fit inside those things, especially if you're fat like me

Remember the SIM registration? Yeah they didn't do shit after that anyway and basically collected our basic data, so why would we do this all over again?

posted this on tumblr so i figured id post here too but these are some jaybin notes i took during my jaybin reread a couple months ago 😭 some citations are missing bc i only wrote some of it down after seeing it 2 or 3 times but still!!! figured someone might find them helpful

Most of the “difficulty” from reading comics can be solved by simply rolling with whatever the story throws at you. Magneto as a younger clone with his exact powers? Ok got it. Spider-Man has a sister? Alright then. All you gotta actually think about is the story’s cohesiveness

4 different comics from Dark Horse, Boom Studios, Image and IDW.

All sold at Barnes and Noble. Get better material, this argument is so stale

If you like Teen titans 2026 you should try out Legion of Superheroes 2026 and if you like Legion of Superheroes 2026 you should try out teen titans 2026 they feel like sister series and are great jumping on points, so if you like seeing teen superheroes give it a shot.

how is it comics’ fault that their adaptations are made with contempt for the medium instead of love for it. Complain about hollywood for that.

[mr lesbo demon constandyke ⚢ @deathbIazer]

yall act like it’s way harder to get into comics than it actually is… it takes one google search to find a reading order for pretty much every character u can think of. even if the character is niche, chances are someone very autistic has made a reading order for them anyways
