@wrthreeh Gods and Monsters may be closer.
And I guarantee they’ll do an Absolute “Legion of Doom” animated movie in the next ten years if that comic ends up being good (when it comes out probably next year?)
@WOODZYDABEAST@camandfilm This is such a good answer. Especially since it would totally fit with the timeline, this being set during the final months of the war while he’s undercover with Dooku.
@DiscussingFilm I hope it’s like one singular scene where all hope is lost and the squad is all about to die, and then Anakin shows up like a superhero and decimates a whole battalion of droids, says something quippy, and then leaves lol
@empatheticcain Frank Miller is certifiably insane.
But he did create the concept of Batman having a female sidekick. And Carrie's fruition in the Golden Child is that Batman trusts her to be Gotham's primary protector while he's in another dimension with the JLA.
@HarperKirkpatr1 This series had so much potential, but the story never grabbed me.
It’s wild that Disney’s first post-RotJ comic about the OT characters was cancelled after only ten issues due to poor sales.
Now we have no Star Wars ongoing series for the first time since 1995.
@Danmora_c Prime has been my favorite character since I was a teenager. But your art and Williamson's writing has made me fall in love with him all over again.
I hope DC treats you well. You've moved mountains in revitalizing their brand.
@SWPraxeum "Mando and Baby Yoda meet Sigourney Weaver and Zeb from Rebels, fight a Hutt, and arrest a bald guy. No one dies and there are no cameos. The End."
There you go. You can print that out and bind it for your collection :)
@Blitzwinger I guess if they did Talia accurately, she would just look normal but have Ra’s’ voice. But that’s not nearly as cool as putting Curaré in the game. (Who, fun fact, is the Green Lantern’s sister.)
@the_whar I always liked this addition in the movie. I feel like Dick Grayson having a dead brother would make his relationship with the other Robins more interesting.
