A year ago on this day, I sat down in front of my computer and wrote "Telomeres".

I was burnt-out from work, pent-up creatively, and thought that maybe I should go back to writing fanfics, at least for one last time before I hung the towel on anything fandom-related. I wrote that oneshot in one night, posted it in ao3 2 days later, and let it sit to be enjoyed for a fandom I know that's already small to begin with. Never did I expect to recieve such praise and support over it, that I ended up writing 2 more follow-up oneshots, and then an entire longfic over ideas I mulled-over for 5 years ever since AOT ended. So I ended up not retiring from fanwriting, and even going back to art again.

It's been one hell of a year since then, and despite the hecticness of my real-life commitments, I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon (but just slower in updates than usual because gradschool life demands my suffering).

Thank you to everyone who followed through and read my works and liked my doodles. And if you haven't yet, it's ok. The Telomeres series will not be leaving, and so will I.

Meanwhile, enjoy this Ackerfam.

Not sure why this is blowing up all of a sudden, but if you actually read the quote, Isayama's "regret" is that he was too attached to Eren's character to portray him as a completely unsympathetic villain. In other words, he regrets that the ending he wrote went too EASY on Eren.
