At the Japan BAD tour, Michael heard the tragic news of a young child who was kidnapped and died, and while performing on stage, he took a moment midway to hold a tribute for that child. Moments like this are a beautiful reminder of who Michael was beyond the stage. He had such a deeply compassionate heart, and he never seemed afraid to use his voice for people whose stories might otherwise have been forgotten or gone unheard.
