When making an animated film, no detail gets overlooked. In this case it is Anastasia's hair. Of course it is a design but at the same time it must fit the character, which is a poor peasant girl who doesn't have time to go to a hair dresser. - Don
31 Years Ago Today, the English Dub of ‘Sailor Moon’ Premiered on YTV in Canada!
On August 28, 1995, the original English-language dub of Sailor Moon premiered on YTV in Canada, marking a major moment in the series’ international history.
For many viewers, this was their first introduction to Sailor Moon, the Sailor Guardians, Tuxedo Mask, Luna and the show’s mix of magical-girl action, romance, comedy and friendship.
The English dub helped Sailor Moon reach a much wider North American audience and became an important gateway into anime for an entire generation. Its growing popularity during the 1990s helped pave the way for anime to become a much bigger part of Western pop culture.
31 years later, Sailor Moon remains one of the most influential and recognizable anime franchises in the world. 🌙💖✨

There was something special about growing up in the 2000s, when every piece of tech had its own job.
Your phone was for calls and texts.
Your iPod was for music.
Your PSP was for gaming.
Your digital camera held the memories.
And the family computer was where you disappeared for hours on MySpace.
Nothing did everything yet… and somehow that made each thing feel more special.
The 2000s really were their own little era.

I was *in the zone* when I was prepping for SDCC… It’s been a bit tough getting back to my usual work flow after two back-to-back conventions! 🫣💦
