Too much focus on clout/validation definitely distracts from much more important issues. Whilst for some it is a numbers game, people have so much to offer across the board irrespective of following, if only they just realised how much they can/do bring to the table.

Instagram is such a cloudy area when it comes to pay. The influencer pay gap page is great for those trying to figure it out but a lot of people are more concerned with likes than actually figuring out their worth and that’s damaging to those who do care.
