I hope that we see more mindfulness, and that those who want to use the keyboard as a weapon, will think before posting messages that promote hate. I hope they use the power in their words to instigate tolerance and compassion, otherwise what is the point ?

@WunWong4 True, and it seems that mere "likes" and "comments" are passive means for engagement, whereas "sharing and saving" are more actionable in that they take more thought, and have a direct impact and the possibility for a wider reach--marketing that serve libraries well. #Info246w718

I'm just trying reinforce their good choice--but I agree, I remember too much and that tends to creep some people. 😬#INFO246w74

@WunWong4 So true! Another good practice is to blur the patrons face and / or logos on clothing. Stalking is all too common. Also, when a patron forgets their card we can ask them to it right down (rather than verbalize their info)--then shred it or return it. #INFO246w74

@VThebookdragon Hi, I am inspired by your post. A library teaming up to feed those in need in your community, wow! I recently became an on-call substitute in our local library, and now have a first-hand view of "those in need." I hope that our library can do the same.

I searched for my library's social media presence and found photos and events that date back to 2020. Our website has a few current events planned, however, I could not access our Facebook page, and Instagram had outdated photos. I'll get the 411 this week. #INFO246w620

so serene...though sadly, I have only seen the snow (in real time) maybe twice in my life, as I live in sunny San Diego.
That sky is fabulous!
Here in SD we rarely even have rain, but we do have sunsets and beaches.
