In the 1st phase of #Transfat elimination campaign, we provided a plethora of evidence as to the health effects of #Transfats. There is a great body of knowledge which can be utilized by #EAC govts to enact TFA policies to guarantee health.

Our #Transfat elimination campaign is aimed at reducing the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, which are the leading cause of deaths. Underpinning our advocacy endeavor is SDG target 3.4, seeking to reduce by 1/3 the deaths from NCDs.
