July 16 was launched by the Sierra Leone-United States Alumni Association (SLUSAA) as "Alumni Giveback Day," a day for members and non-members alike to give back to their communities through volunteerism and community service.

Like the Meet & Greet Program in 2019, last year’s event gave alumni members from all walks of life the opportunity to interact, network, and dine together. It was a fun-filled day thanks to the few indoor games we played and discussions peppered with jokes and a lot of humor
