(1)On this 13th October 2020, the delegation from the Embassy of Korea led by Jongyun CHOI, Deputy Chief of Mission Councellor visited Rwanda Polytechnic to discuss about the effectiveness and the sustainability of KOICA's funded programs in TVET Sector including RTTI.
On this Friday 06th November 2020 at least 1,000 youth have graduated from @SDF_Rwanda Call 3 Short-term on job training. They were trained on TVET skills by the C & D factory located in Kigali Special Economic Zone under the Skills Development Fund through WDA.@RwandaPolytec
The trainees –who graduated- lauded the government of Rwanda over the support saying that is an opportunity to develop themselves and the country in general.
SDF grand chairperson said: We are happy that after training, all trainees were employed by the company. This is in drive to reduce unemployment among the youth. We encourage youth to work hard and even create their own jobs from acquired TVET skills.
