Now, a new chapter has begun, taking me back to where my heart has been all these years while pursuing this PhD. 🇵🇷

Earlier this month, I officially graduated with my PhD in Civil Engineering from @NCState (@NCStateCCEE), marking the end of my academic journey.

After years of dedication, hard work, and countless hours of study, I am happy to share that I have completed my PhD! 
Reflecting on my journey, I remember my first day at the @uprm, full of uncertainty about whether engineering was the right path for me.

However, the incredible support from my colleagues, mentors, and the broader academic community has been invaluable. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to work on diverse projects and engage with various student organizations, all of which have contributed to my growth.

Visiting the country from which I use earthquake ground motion and site data is rewarding and an honor.

Beyond excited to have attended the 8th Int. Conference on Geotechnical and Earthquake Eng. in Osaka, Japan. It was great to meet colleagues from around the world and present my work on spatial variability of site effects and its correlations with site response in Japan.

Happy to have spent last week at Anchorage, Alaska learning and meeting colleagues at the @SeismoSocietyAm Annual Meeting. It was great to present and discuss my work with other students and professionals I admire.

The Meet the Leaders event with inspiring professionals, while the YMC social brought together peers, some of whom I had only known virtually. Both events, organized by the @EeriYmc, were great. I take immense pride in being a part of this group of exceptional rising stars.
