@piersmorgan Of course we forget about the practicality of hosting all these thieves - it won’t eradicate the problem. If you consider the cost of hosting someone at His Majesty’s pleasure we may as well nationalise the phone companies and give the phones away FREE - no incentive to steal 🤔
@Trojan_jo@elonmusk You are right to a point, although we have to be careful when we say “perceived failure of official law enforcement”. In most/many cases it will be real failure from a total absence of law enforcement.
can you trust your own and your supplier's/partner'/client's purpose/vision - it can be quite difficult to speak the simple truth. Success needs to be meaningful!
@jefielding What work experience does your average student have? Do you think less experience means a lack of fear and bolder ideas? Would love a group of start-up students to use my start-up as a use case to scale at pace. I trust an unbridled mind over one that overthinks.
“Investors remain interested in funding groundbreaking cybersecurity startups, especially in the early stages, and data supports this trend.” https://t.co/CtozhwPB0k via @crunchbasenews
@jefielding lol as I am about to start a podcast, although as an extension to what I do as a founder, and not as life after being a founder. Does one ever stop being a founder?
@mustardnut@jefielding If money is the primary purpose of a venture then (imo) it’s not investable. I do understand not all opportunities use recurring revenue to scale, and rather need capital to create its viability. These will have larger and more complex funding requirements.
@SantoJLeo@jefielding Spot on. Founders and investors get stuck on finding huge markets that aren't crowded. Game-changing innovators know where to look and how to create - solutions and returns. There's an opportunity for VC's to invest in early stage with more predictable return potential.
@jen_k_usa @jefielding Only a small % of start-ups seek funding. An even smaller group successfully raise, with a big % of those failing. There is a bigger group who bootstrap and are more likely to succeed, enabling themselves to raise later without undermining their value and potential.
@jen_k_usa @jefielding Hi Nora, how did being female differentiate your approach? I have been bootstrapping while building, testing market fit, and ensuring enterprise-level commercial viability. I think we all share a common objective to find the correct valuation before accepting early stage funding.
