We were thrilled to host @Arm Developer program team, @ArmSoftwareDev, at our school and eagerly anticipate collaborating with them. With their support, we aim to establish an exceptional developer hub spanning across Morocco, thus creating a strong community dedicated to improving our country's technology landscape. @ArmEducation

Really cool to see the excitement about @ggerganov's work porting LLMs to C++ and running on edge devices.
If deploying models as optimized C++ is your thing, just wait until you see what we're launching at @EdgeImpulse next month 😬 🔥🔥 AI at the Edge is here!!
"The Opta will bridge the gap from the embedded to industrial worlds seamlessly allowing developers from both of these traditionally separate domains to cross over."
Here's an excellent write-up by Peter Ing on Arduino Pro's new micro PLC. https://t.co/QoX83ShYdK
“Edge Impulse is thrilled to collaborate with @BrainChip_inc and harness their groundbreaking neuromorphic technology. Akida’s 2nd generation platform adds TENNs and ViTs to a strong neuromorphic foundation. That’s going to accelerate the demand for intelligent solutions..."
@EdgeImpulse As always a very interesting discussion. I think tonight's topic is of critical importance and should be revisited again in the future as it highlights softer issues beyond just the hard technology.
@ShawnHymel@arturo182 Also for prototyping sometimes I use lots of flux spray normal lead solder and then either bridge all pins and wick away bridge's if it's finely pitched or I tin each pad with solder then carefully place IC down and sink into each pad with a fine tip iron... requires patience
@ShawnHymel@arturo182 Those are tricky to do by hand. Have you tried a solder sucker? Also with the solder wick it helps to tin the tip and add more solder in to the mix to help conduct heat. Are the bridges happening on pins connected to ground planes or anything that sinks the heat away?
I got myself a classic PLC from one of the top makers. I wanted to see what is the user experience for somebody approaching the products. Their "Getting Started" PDF should have been called "Just Give Up".. The UX is the polar opposite of everything I believe in :)
@mbanzi I'm so glad to see you moving in this direction. Ive had one foot in embedded and another in Industrial Automation for years and PLCs don't make sense to me at all as to why the are still used. I could go on for days but I think you have seen firsthand now...
"Why I'm super excited about the @Arduino Portenta is that, for the first time, it allows you to monitor machines or track assets by using our primary senses. Embedded machine learning lets you feel, hear, and see anything that happens around the device." https://t.co/SpCfQSM2s9
@dansitu The blockchain concept has also been embarrassingly over hyped especially in corporate circles as must have technology even without understanding merits. In all but a few situations I've honestly struggled to see the benefits over other storage and record keeping approaches.
Our ambassador Peter Ing has put together an awesome beginner's guide that details the process of building an object detector with Edge Impulse. https://t.co/Vm2ikmJr1Z
