Four simple reasons you and student athletes should avoid Celsius
1. High caffeine content
200 mg of caffeine per can which is equivalent to 2 strong cups of coffee.
Can cause:
Jitters, anxiety, or heart palpitations. Sleep disruption (especially if consumed after 2–3 PM).
Headaches or withdrawal symptoms if used regularly and stopped suddenly.
👉 Not ideal for teens, those with heart conditions, or caffeine sensitivity.
2. Stimulant “cocktail”
Contains guarana, green tea extract (EGCG), caffeine anhydrous, and ginger root all are stimulants or thermogenics.
Stacked together, they may increase metabolic rate, but can overstimulate your central nervous system, especially during intense training or in hot weather.
3. Not NSF Certified for Sport
Celsius is not third-party tested for banned substances (like NSF Certified for Sport or Informed Sport).
Athletes in tested sports (NCAA, military, pro leagues) should be cautious risk of contamination or banned ingredients (even trace amounts).
4. Artificial sweeteners & additives
High in sucralose, citric acid, and other flavorings. While generally recognized as safe (GRAS), some people experience bloating, GI distress, or simply prefer to avoid artificial ingredients.
There’s a difference between a hero and a Warrior. The hero wants the glory and the trophy. They are looking at the clock hoping time speeds up so they can win. The Warrior loves the battle! They focus on the NOW and fight until the end.
Open letter to our Coach @Lane_Kiffin
As you labor over your decision, I, who loves my University and my Ole Miss family, just want to tell you, thank you! It's not said enough. You always give credit to your players, coaches and fans but I, and I know I'm not speaking alone, give credit to you for what you have done at Ole Miss. You've exceeded everyone's expectations by building this program into a national contender! You've made us realistically believe we can win it all! Ole Miss will never be satisfied with just being good anymore.
You have the right, like any of us, to choose your place of employment. As a proud Rebel, I will be praying to the same God as you that He blesses you to stay. However, that is your choice and I for one, will respect your decision. As you choose your next chapter, be it at Ole Miss or not, I hope for nothing less than happiness for you and your family.
Again, Coach, THANK YOU!!! Hotty Toddy!
"It’s not culture’s job to make people feel good.
The purpose of culture is to drive the behaviors that win.
That’s it.
That’s culture’s job."
Culture is about creating habits that make winning inevitable.
Commit daily to actions that turn your goals into guarantees.
Want to create a positive culture of sustained success? Make sure your best players are also your best leaders. They are your greatest missionaries. What they project daily will be translated for all to see

Interested shows up when it’s comfortable.
Committed shows up no matter what.
Interested fades when it gets tough.
Committed pushes through every obstacle, sticks to the standard, and doesn’t make excuses.
That’s the difference between a contender and a champion.
