Today, i woke up with explosions because russia decided bombing Kharkiv, the city with 1.3 million civilians in it, is fun or something.
Then, I spent the day reading how tech bros are complaining about how inconvenient it is that we here in Ukraine are dying too slowly and can't "surrender already" to save their taxes.
Just another day, I guess.
Obviously not pleasant to have this filth calling for my murder, but I suppose it’s a compliment they see me as a threat. But Ukrainians are murdered every single day because Putin sees their democracy & freedom as a threat. It’s the fight of all our lives, so I see no choice. 🇺🇦

I’d like to put in my two cents about the mass Twitter X exodus of people who support Ukraine.
There's no such thing as a vacuum when it comes to social media platforms. When good people leave, pro-Kremlin bots will make sure to fill in the spots.
Also, (unfortunately), a lot of politicians and global media rely on this platform to measure the public’s support for various causes. It’s no different when it comes to support for Ukraine.
I beg you to think really hard before you leave. Evaluate what's more important to you - to ‘vote with your feet’ so to speak to prove a point or to keep on fighting on the side of Good.
Many of you initially joined Twitter to show your support for Ukraine and to fight Russian misinformation.
Please don't abandon your mission now. Don't let the Kremlin’s Propaganda win.
P.S. There's my photo of President Zelensky from tonight’s address to the nation.

Sad to read that the European commission intends to unfreeze about €13bn in funding to Viktor Orbanä's not-very-democratic regime in Hungary before the end of November.
The EU has failed to stand up for democracy & rule of law in Hungary.

Many have asked how they can support Ukraine, so here are what I think are some of the most important ways.
1. Educate yourself: learn our history, our politics, our issues (we have many, which we too are internally fighting hard to resolve); learn that we have tried to negotiate, and have negotiated, even as russia bombed us. Learn that it is russia who has broken ratified agreements, promises, alliances. Not us.
2. Speak to your representatives: Online, offline, loudly, quietly. Make it known to your leaders you want them to support us in Ukraine.
3. Correct disinformation: first, see point 1. Then, understand what russia does, how it plays victim whilst killing our children, our brothers, fathers, sisters and mothers. And everything they do, they accuse us of doing. Do not be fooled, and do not let others be fooled. russia does this because it knows that it cannot compete with Western support, so it works to stop Western support. Do not let them stop Western support.
5. Believe in Ukraine: Since Feb 24th 2022, our military, our people, our leaders have performed miracle after miracle, but it would not be possible with out your support. And I know the support will not stop, and with every fibre of my being, I know that victory will be ours.
6. Understand the cost: yes, you pay taxes, and it is a huge financial burden, and words cannot describe how grateful we are to you for the support you've already given. We too pay a huge financial price. But, that's not the only price we pay. We pay in blood. The blood of our sons, our daughters, our brothers, our sisters, our fathers, our mothers, and our friends. We have given everything we have already, and yet, we still pay, and will continue to pay this price.
Closing thoughts
So much destruction, so much death, so much suffering. So many lives lost, so many families ruined, so many dreams destroyed. All because russia started an unjust, unprovoked, unjustifiable war of aggression. May our fallen heroes live their lives, have their futures, and follow their dreams in the next life.
For those of us lucky enough to still have this life, we are not willing to give up our existence, our futures, our dreams.
Please understand that no matter what happens, we will not stop fighting for our right to exist, to have a future, to follow our dreams.
Even if the price we pay is our existence, our futures, our dreams.
Eternal memory to our fallen heroes! Our victory will be because of you.

Ukrainian soldiers send a message to all Russian soldiers, telling them why they fight for Ukraine, and asking the Russians what they are fighting for
Will there be a response from the Russians? What could they possibly say?
“Because waging wars of aggression is our tradition”?
