Hi @IndiGo6E@qatarairways@MoCA_GoI. @CSMIA_Official@AAI_Official@DGCAIndia@RamMNK Two back-to-back baggage handling mishaps. On 8th August, I arrived in Mumbai from Luxembourg via Doha on IndiGo 6E 1342. My checked in baggage did not arrive. ( Route : LG5437 - QR160 - QR 4784/6E 1342)
I travelled with my 7 year old son, the missing bag contained his clothes, medicines and essentials. We managed without our belongings for three full days. I was told it would be delivered earlier, but it was only available on the evening of 10th August.
On 14th August, my wife arrived in Mumbai on the same route on 6E 1342. Her checked baggage did not arrive either. After my experience, she kept essentials in her cabin baggage, worried the same could happen, which it did. What is going wrong with baggage handling on this route?
Is this a process, ground handling, manpower, coordination or capacity failure? Or is there no effective accountability when baggage fails to make it onto the aircraft?
Passengers should not have to anticipate lost luggage and prepare a “survival kit” in their cabin bag.
What is IndiGo’s actual compensation/reimbursement policy for passengers whose checked baggage is delayed for days?
I have the PIR/documentation for both incidents and can provide details privately.
IndiGo describes its proposition as a “courteous and hassle-free travel experience.” Ours has been the opposite.
Mr. Willie Walsh, as you take the helm of IndiGo amid rapid international expansion, customer experience and operational reliability need to grow with it.
@IndiGo6E, don’t just locate the bags. Locate the problem. These two experiences are unacceptable and unprofessional. I have sent you an official email also at [email protected] with all details.
This is the most unorganized, lack of process oriented aviation experience i have had in my life.. yesterday i was told by the customer care the baggage will arrive from Doha as it is located there, now its a different story all together.. this is absolutely unacceptable.. @IndiGo6E@qatarairways@AAI_Official@DGCAIndia@RamMNK@LiveFromALounge@ari_maj@shukla_tarun
@qatarairways received a call from Indigo Airlines today @IndiGo6E that the luggage was not loaded in copenhagen itself.. that means its an error from your end. Pls ensure my luggage reaches as committed ..very disappointing experience..@MoCA_GoI@DGCAIndia

@GabbbarSingh Thank You for commenting on his win. We need more and more traction for this sport specially with Indian viewers across the globe. This is by far one of the toughest racket sport to play. Lacking media and other commercial attentions which it very well deserves..
@GabbbarSingh Absolutely! Can relate.. I started around 2 years ago when i was 38! Regretted later for starting such a beautiful/intense sport so late.. have been consistently playing since then and now can survive a 2 hours game.. ofcourse with some pauses and breaks! Much needed..
