The house that was commissioned for Hitler’s 50th birthday, with sweeping views of the Bavarian Alps.

Well, tonight about 90 minutes ago, a massive fire broke out there.

The building, which is used as a restaurant and mountain inn, appears to have been set on fire deliberately. It was closed at the time.

Because of its height at 1,834m, the limited access road and the steep terrain, firefighters have struggled to reach it.

The iconic building is said to be fully engulfed in flames.

As the police rushed up the mountain they came across a motorcyclist travelling down from the summit. He has been arrested and is now in custody.

Don’t you realise that some groups will not be happy until everything is destroyed.

🇺🇸 ARMS RACE: AIs find vulnerabilities that humans can’t, they even hack hardware.
Sam Altman sounds the alarm.

By now Pandora’s box is opened, you can’t just turn off the AIs and forget about it.

If the US would “pace the frontier” and slow down for example, China would move ahead quicker and be able to find all vulnerabilities in American critical infrastructure.

This could mean that China can just take down the electrical grid in the US, this is just an example based on a real story from an AI lab.

Obviously this applies the other way around too, this means China can’t just cool down on AI … a new arms race has started without anyone really noticing.

Meanwhile Europe’s leadership just watches and claps like a seal waiting for a chance to regulate and tax it.

Since AI is now able to hack hardware by directly using physical bugs in the system, new hardware is needed.

There will be a new huge market for AI-designed - AI SAFE - hardware.

Everyone will want to secure their infrastructure and critical systems.

This means everyone will have to throw away their legacy systems and buy new ones that are “AI SAFE” or “AI PROTECTED” natively.

AI hardware design will be the next critical industry. Countries will spend trillions.
