Based on the book of Philippians.

The apostle Paul, while in prison, realized that although he had desired to see Christ face to face, and realized the world was refuse - he realized that his living on this earth is Christ Himself. Although to die is gain, he realized his life even in prison was still a profit to the kingdom. Paul had realized everything in the world that was supposed to be good, was actually trash compared to the knowledge of the excellency of Christ.

In order to go on in the Christian life, we may see the world and want to leave simply because we see the depravity and futility - however, we must realize that Christ is our life, He is here for our enjoyment. This enjoyment should produce fruit for Him to gain more of what He is after in us.

We should love the Lord to such a degree that we desire to be found in Him, know Him and the power of His resurrection, the fellowship of His sufferings, and be conformed to His death that we may attain to the out-resurrection from the dead - which is the wedding feast of the Lamb.

There is a special portion reserved for those who use this live to pursue and gain Christ, rather than merely waiting for eternity to come, we must realize eternity is within us at this very moment and we can apprehend the unsearchable riches of Christ in this life before we meet the Lord face to face.

"For I know that for me this will turn out to salvation through your petition and the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I will be put to shame, but with all boldness, as always, even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:19-21)

"So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;" (Philippians 2:12)

"But what things were gains to me, these I have counted as loss on account of Christ. But moreover I also count all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as refuse that I may gain Christ And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is out of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is out of God and based on faith, To know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, If perhaps I may attain to the out-resurrection from the dead." (Philippians 3:7-11)

Jeremiah did say that... but the New Testament also says our hearts can be cleansed, and that people can call out to the Lord in a pure heart, and here's what John says about our being...

"Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been manifested what we will be. We know that if He is manifested, we will be like Him because we will see Him even as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, even as He is pure." (1 John 3:2-3)

I used to hold this concept about the heart as well but Christ is making His home in our hearts, therefore our hearts are being transformed by the Spirit to allow Christ to make residence in us...

Also, Ezekiel shows us that the Lord gives us a new spirit and a heart of flesh that becomes sensitive to the desires of God showing that our heart can change and does not need to remain wicked.

"Or does not the potter have authority over the clay to make out of the same lump one vessel unto honor and another unto dishonor? And what if God, wishing to demonstrate His wrath and make His power known, endured with much long-suffering vessels of wrath fitted for destruction, In order that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He had before prepared unto glory," (Romans 9:21-23)

Since we will be one with the Spirit - on earth, not in heaven by the way... - there is oneness in all of creation so there would only be one language.

Languages were divided and confused because fallen man was attempting to become like God in Genesis. Although God desires oneness, He does not desire oneness with mankind separate from Him.

He will restore His divine intent once all things in the Bible have been completed.

Well, maybe the rebellion that occured is what now allows God to be presented as grace, love, mercy, and salvation.

Without weakness, one would not know grace.
Without failure, one would not know mercy.
Without sin and the separation from it, one would not experience His sacrificial and unconditional love and the glory of salvation.

@archie_lochie Well, if unbelievers are condemned to the second death and then death is thrown into the lake of fire. How else would you understand those verses in Scripture? And if so, how can we be saved from the wrath of God if there is no wrath?
