I've been retweeted by @Raffi_RC, twice, which is neat. Account checked infrequently; sorry if I don't reply in a timely manner. My tweets are @semiphemeral.
@duncankinney What a dumb thing to be outraged over. It's a thing that says I can travel and other countries put stamps into it. It could be totally blank inside for all I care.

@TamaraVineberg@spencerbennett1 Sorry I missed this! I don't check Twitter much these days. I probably couldn't have helped much, to be honest. I've got family on my wife's side out east, but don't know St. John's that well since they live in central Newfoundland.
Check out this giveaway by @chromeunboxed & The Chrome Cast podcast and make sure to enter for a chance to win a Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3 or one of 5 Lenovo Smart Clock Essentials!

I too have many opinions on the Pope’s visit.
I don’t need to share them.

@MarkConnollyCBC I've lived centrally ever since moving out of my parents' place 15+ years ago and wouldn't have it any other way. Living in a walkable neighbourhood, close to work and our children's school means we can be a one-car household. Better for the environment and our bank account.
@jeffsamsonow It's almost like Caterina's plan to not bother actually campaigning didn't work out. Also his plan to attempt to run in a ward that generally elects more progressive candidates...
Correct. PPC vote splitting certainly didn't hurt, but the NDP put in a ton of work. @DesjarlaisBlake is great and having Alberta's best MLA @JanisIrwin campaign with him certainly helped. It's been three elections of hard work to get to this point.
@gurlfromthebus @MedusaBeth That’s also how I feel about the news repeatedly announcing how Kenney was the “assist” in this Liberal win and that he should get ready for his “postmortem” inspection hahahahahahahaha a
It’s a passport. Just like all the other passports. With one big difference. The province is putting the burden of actually implementing it on business under the guise of choice.
My teen was just IN TEARS because our "leaders" had to say "everything is closed down again," waiting several minutes before revealing that 70% of us are exempted rather than just saying "Sorry, anti-vaxxers, you need to stay home." This is communications chaos.
When we speak of triage, we describe a system that fairly considers who will benefit from limited resources. In reality triage is already happening & it is lawless. Those who choose not to be vaccinated take resources away from those who would benefit from them through ignorance.
