@MrEd315@HondoCarpenter Remember the story where the Raiders sent JaMarcus home with a blank tape to see if he'd watch it and he didn't? Pretty sure that's a story that will never happen with Mendoza.
@Mileage_impo I thought the odometer was supposed to stop counting at 299,999. There are tons of stories online of people running into that limitation.
@RaidersBeat Is there literally nothing but a man's word to enforce these contracts? The trade is probably harder to enforce unless Spytek could produce documentation that the Ravens flip-flopped on a condition that was fully known and agreed to, but what about the FA signing?
@RaidersBeat We don't need to be in a position where there are three clear-cut can't-miss franchise-altering players in the draft, and we beat, say, the Chiefs on Christmas to slide us to 4th in the draft with all trade offers refused... yet again.
@lolojennings Apparently my top song was "Dance Hall Days" by Wang Chung. That was also my top song 2 or 3 years ago. I have never once searched out that song on Spotify. That's entirely the algorithm making that choice for me.
@Jason The "Mormons" (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) pay a lot of taxes. There are two sides to the church finances: the church side, funded by tithes, is tax-exempt as in any other church, but the church also owns several for-profit businesses and pays taxes on those.
Hey @Jason when will inside dot com mail out W2s for 2024? Legally supposed to be by Jan. 31. I can't get it digitally because Paycom wants to send the login authentication code to the work email I can't access anymore.
@RaidersBeat Aren't Jameis and Minshew basically the same QB, with the only difference being that Jameis is playing up to expectations this year and Gardner isn't?
@FantasyOutlaw I thought this would have something to do with Richardson taking a play off and the universal roasting of team and player that followed.
@BWilliamsonNFL If the Jets did well enough for this to become a second-round pick, it'd be pretty close to the end of the second round. If the Jets continue on the current path, it'd be pretty close to the start of the third round. Not too much difference in what the pick would be worth.
@NewbergReport I should also add, w/r/t the Forbes valuation, the Angels' often-mocked change from California or Anaheim to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
@NewbergReport None are a direct comparison, but it’s probably the Angels that come closest. Won it all a couple of decades ago, but no playoff success since then, a meddling owner, superstars that don't lead to team success, and no hope for the foreseeable future.
