I'm completely blown away by Nomad Sculpt. It is so much more comfortable than Zbrush and so far I haven't noticed any features missing (granted I'm not very well-versed in Zbrush) #gamedev#zbrush
Iβm honestly having a blast retopologizing a face for the first time! Granted @dikko_art is teaching me everything to do in amazing detail and I have Stargate to keep me company #gamedev
Actually realizing that I am free to play around with everything in my game and break rules/not set them at first has to be the most freeing feeling. I'm finally seeing progress with my game art and my story planning #gamedev

It is so easy to get distracted by all of the different steps when venturing into 3D. I'm so close to being done with my character model, but then I get sucked down a YT rabbit hole about rigging/animating! Trying to put my blinders on & stay focused on finishing my current tasks
Littlewood's launch really had me overwhelmed with emotions. I just wanna say I appreciate everyone's kind words and I love making games and I love this community. Update v1.01 should drop within a couple of days!
I showed my fiance one of my mood boards for my game. He said that I am way too extra about mood boards and don't really need that many reference images... I'm not going to tell him that this was just the mood board for one small area... #gamedev

After ~ 50 hours of studying 3D and 40 hours working on initial models, I'm ready to start plugging my art into the game. This feels like my last opportunity to change things, so I thought I'd reconsider Unity vs Unreal since I landed on Unity because it's better for 2D (1/3)
After watching a lot of comparison videos, I was leaning towards sticking with Unity because I've gotten very comfortable with it and with its form of C#, but I thought I'd at least download Unreal and play around with it to see if I like it. (2/3)
