I knew she was struggling not to ask me why.
I never got a chance to tell her but I never stop thinking about that day and just wished I said something…
Just one thing to defend her
Dear diary
I remember the one time I couldn’t stand up for my friend.
The whole class was against her and I stood on the sidelines and watched as they bullied and all ganged up against her.
I was so scared they would turn on me next
So I cowered and just watched
But with Ada you don’t get pieces you get whole everytime
And that was why as I walked her home we talked and laughed about the incident like it was nothing but deep down I felt so ashamed and silently prayed she forgive me
Even thoo she acted like she didn’t need it…
I could have said something
Maybe even one word of defense but I didn’t
She was all alone in that fight
I was her only friend and all she had and what did I do ?
all I did was wait till it was over to pick up her pieces and walk her home
I was so embarrassed that I threw you away and promised myself no one would ever read my thoughts again.
But here I am, looking for you. Because I feel those things again. And this time, it’s not a boy.
Dear diary,
I remember the last time I wrote to you. It was about a boy. I was feeling things I had never felt before, so giggly and fun inside that I needed to write it down, so I wouldn’t forget.
Well… that didn’t last. My mum found you and read you.
Abeg! You guys should return the money you debited and never reversed! I have been following this up for too long, IT’S EXHAUSTING! @gtbank@gtbank_help
A snippet of my conversation with @sparklingoracle yesterday on @NigeriaInfoPH about the #KenSaroWiwaAirport campaign
The argument is that this is the least the Nigerian State can do after murdering him & 8 ogoni chiefs in cold blood after a kangaroo court judgement!
After Subsidy Removal came the Students Loan Act by President Bola Tinubu. The latter has been described as a ploy to impose high tuition on Nigerian students. How sustainable could this be?
