Wuthering Waves maker Kuro Games has announced a major creative collaboration with Liu Cixin, the renowned author behind The Three-Body Problem.
The partnership will see Liu Cixin take on a world-building consultant role, working and contributing to the storytelling direction of the studio’s projects, including the open-world action RPG, Wuthering Waves.
He is expected to be involved in shaping the science fiction framework and narrative depth in the ongoing stories.
The announcement was made at the 2026 China Science Fiction Convention, which ran from March 27th to March 29th.
