Not gonna lie, it was weirdly intimidating talking so openly about zoo stuff with someone that didn't have a zoo presence. Was really cool though, and I'm so happy that she agreed to do it. Hopefully this is just the start of a more academic look at this topic.
Hey, zoo allies!
You're not talked about often. But you're really appreciated. For your open-mindedness, your kindness, and your support, visible or invisible.
You get much of the same hell that we do. And to do it on behalf of others... Know that you're wonderful!
Thank you!
Are you a zoo artist or ally? Are you looking to advertise to a network of zoos that are specifically looking to hire within the community? Either reply to this tweet or shoot me a DM so that I can hook you up with an awesome new project.
in every argument there’s people on either side who will make death threats, suicide bait, and/or harass their percieved enemy.
these people tend to get cherry-picked to de-humanize their group. most people actually *aren’t like that.*
In Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, Velma and Shaggy's relationship doesn't work out because she is canonically a lesbian, and he is a zoophile. I'm so proud of both of them.
@ZoobyDoobyDoo1@ZetaFoxyfluffs Being with a partner has been shown to flood the human brain with chemicals that demonstrably affects behavior and impairs judgement.
How can sex between humans ever be consensual when it's just the result of evolutionary chemical manipulation that removes their agency‽‽‽‽‽
