@aakashgupta π ya, that's now how any of that worked. Source: I was there, 2004-2009. Profit sharing was a quarterly bonus paid out based on STORE performance, not some retirement plan the company was funding with 4% of your pay.
@Jondoevalr@McCarthyist2 And it also doesn't matter π€· the boys aren't responsible for her choice to become intoxicated and under the law that choice doesn't remove her agency.
@downbadcomment I mean... No? Do you have any idea how much a waitress/bartender can make, compared to the salary of a university researcher? Plus she had a much smaller apartment - something mentioned many times.
@puptartist Or they're giggling because she's 90% of the way to losing her shit over the elevator being stuck, while they're all just chilling not caring.
@JasonCincinnati@Zoya_ki_batein Not less valuable, but at the same time we must realize these children are a huge burden on families, schools, and the systems at large - all for someone who will never live a full & "normal" life, and who will statistically die much younger. Not every family can do that π€·
@Tristanican@DemosKratosCA Know what's funny? In the US, if you buy milk/cream/half and half...that's all it is. And, in fact, US labelling requirements say you can only call it "cream" if it's "fluid milk product separated from cow's milk".
Kind of curious what the label on this product actually says
@DanielEllis95@pinkleftygirl With the modern view of what is and isn't "sexual assault" that's not surprising. Ever been in a boys locker room? All that grabass you and your boys did in high school would, today, label you as a sexual assaulter.
@CursedWithEyes@pinkleftygirl If you change the sample to be only cases where the "victim" was allegedly gang-raped by a group of college guys that statistic dramatically changes. Out of the major cases that've come out since Duke Lacrosse - nearly all have been fake claims.
