I want to be a toddler. You get to go on trips and vacations but never have to pack, plan, pay or drive. You simply just show up and have a blast. It’s the dream.
Casa Amor is pissing me off. Not because of the guys acting out (I expected that) but because the selection of guys that the girls were given in the villa is terrible compared to the girls the guys got at Casa. They set the girls up for failure here. #loveislandusa
Been out of school for 2 weeks and already got the “your hallway is ready so you can come back in to work in your rooms” email. 😅😭 Thanks but no thanks. 😂
@AlliAlliG I tried and tried to get my 2.5 year old potty trained but she was so uninterested that it never stuck. She was a little over 3 years old and just decided one day to start using it with no prompting. Waiting is the far better (less stressful) route.
We live in a time where a teacher messages parents about an issue and the response is “I don’t believe that, I’m going to get their side of the story.” As if the teacher is plotting against the child to get them in trouble for no reason. You really think I have time for that?🙃
I love it when I spend weeks getting groups and everything organized for a field trip that has been planned for months and then parents decide last minute they aren’t going and they don’t feel the need to tell me until the night before.
Almost every teacher I know (and most people that work in education in general) are on anxiety meds. Very few of my non-educator family and friends are taking anything. 🤔
I just don’t know that teaching is for me anymore. I love my students and still give it my all every day but I am just so dead all of the time. My excitement and enthusiasm is gone and all of my time outside of work is spent building back up my mental state.
@gsdboymom We just did our families and I’m so glad we did. She napped through a chunk of it and with it just being our families there was no pressure to keep her up or to entertain everyone. When she was awake she wasn’t overwhelmed by so many people being around and she loved it.
The number of kids I saw in car rider line with Stanley cups today was insane. (I work at an elementary school so these 5-11 year olds have 45 dollar cups. 😅)
Christmas is next Monday and I am not prepared at all. And I still have to survive 1 and a half more school days. Will I even make it to Christmas? Only time will tell.
The ending of vacations and Christmas night are the same to me.. something you’ve looked forward to for so long is ending and it’s just sad. They always leave you wanting more but also grateful for the time you had.
