this woman is a performative final boss. i genuinely hate everyone who acts purely for engagement. if armys hadn't set the agenda, this woman and other people wouldn't defend the moral values like this. her takes or unfollows are not genuine.

A reminder that โThey Don't Know 'Bout Usโ
๐ฅ: RM and I were talking one night after work, and the phrase came out of that conversation. The initial wording was actually โyou make me weak,โ because that's what I wanted to tell the fans.
๐ฅ: You shape us, you always treat us like weโre such amazing people, but because of that, we donโt have room for growth. I wanted to try expressing that feeling that they might be making us weak. And โthey donโt know โbout usโ came out of that discussion, initially. Since then, itโs expanded to include our other membersโ thoughts in there, but in the beginning, it came from the idea that nobody knows how weak we are. Thatโs how the idea evolved, from โyou make me weak.โ
if kpop fans are going to use bts to promote their own idols, i'll give a little reminder: according to their logic, theor own idols are no different from mine right now. don't play selective morality police.
OKAYYY SO. We need to talk about what WE are doing in our capacities.
Majority of us spend hours here making posters, pushing positive narratives, defending 875 and correcting misinformation because we KNOW how easily 875 and 4RMY are targeted.
So how are we suddenly pretending our own words have no consequences?
You cannot KNOWINGLY make an insenstive post that ant!s will screenshot, weaponize and use against 875, then act shocked when they do exactly that.
You cannot make insensitive comments about their art, music or them as people, call it โconstructive criticism,โ and then complain about the narratives being pushed against them.
You cannot say โFUCK HY3Eโ and then create hashtags specifically so HY3E will see your public criticism, while pretending you have no responsibility for how that content travels.
These things do not go hand in hand.
Because you cannot complain that people aren't reporting hate accounts or fighting misinformation while simultaneously handing those accounts perfectly packaged ammunition that reaches 100K people. That's feeding the machine and then complaining ABOUT the machine.
Before you hit post, ask:
Am I contributing to the conversation or giving someone ammunition?
Sometimes you can make your criticism, make your point, and simply walk away. That isn't silencing yourself instead that's understanding the responsibility that comes with having a platform.
โผ๏ธPlease help spread awareness about venka and chelsea_taeโผ๏ธ
Once again, please stop giving these stalkers a platform. They follow the boys during their private time among other problematic things. Venka recently changed her watermark (see below) so many could be unaware, but most are refusing to delete coz of engagement, esp big accounts. Itโs upsetting that more of you prioritize 4k fancams over the boysโ safety/well-being and unfortunate that iโve had to unfollow/mute/block accounts iโve once enjoyed before :/
