We think self-love has a lot to do with Personal Integrity. Why? Because the ability to keep promises to yourself that forward your big dreams is the highest form of self-love there is.
The problem with keeping shit to ourselves is it grows in the dark recesses of our minds.
We somehow believe if it’s too nasty to say...it must be true. FALSE.
Get fessing gracefully. Need a helping Handel? Find us.
Everyone has their kryptonite, their cavities, their lessons…
But what truly matters is how they face their own fears and not only live to tell about it, teach from it.
No?! We humans avoid shi(f)t?
Can’t be.
You know what. Don’t ask yourself. Ask your BFF, your partner, your kids, your co-workers what’s a good promise you should not only make, you should keep!
In any area where your results don’t match what you say you want, you have to figure out what brand of excuse is in that area. Once you can start to hear your favorite excuses, you can start to see them for what they really are: Dream Decay.
As much as we, the sincere, do-gooder, and mean well-ers, all enjoy a good non-action verb here and there, make sure you're ALSO doing something a little scarier, bolder that requires more gumption than trying or hoping to make your dreams a reality.
They are yours, after all!
Designing a promise to yourself that you can keep is no easy feat. It has to be specific, measurable, and a stretch, but doable.
Getting it right and keeping it?
Now that’s the secret sauce to success.
